BC Baseball (26-10, 16-5) will take on Long Beach City College (24-12, 16-5) in Game 1 of the best-of-three first round of the SoCal Regionals at 2pm Friday at Joe Hicks Memorial Field.

But weather all through Southern California has been wet after an unexpected storm, and that could toss a monkeywrench into the schedule.

"There are protocols in the event of rain," Athletic Director Sandi Taylor said, "and we'd just play two on Saturday, with a third on Sunday if necessary."

Coach Tim Painton hasn't announced a game one starter yet, but said Monty Stevens, Hudson Hartley, and Austin Toerner are all ready to go, and have had more rest than usual since their last starts.
