BC Baseball (18-11, 9-5) won a windy and wild Thursday home game against College of the Canyons (24-5, 11-3) 20-9 at Gerry Collis Field.

Canyons got to starter Monty Stevens for six runs on five hits and four walks in the one inning of work.

But Cain Roberts (1-0) came on in relief and picked up the win by holding COC to three runs in six innings of work while BC erupted for a huge inning.

The Renegades used a combination of bunts, timely hitting, smart baserunning, and Canyons errors to light up the scoreboard eight runs in the sixth inning.

Jacob Herrera led the 'Gades at the plate with a five for six performance, coming just a homer short of the cycle-with three RBI and two runs scored.

BC play the rubber match of this week's three game set at Canyons on Saturday, April 16th at 1pm.
