Austin Toerner gave up only one run over seven innings as Bakersfield College Baseball (15-9, 6-3) beat Antelope Valley College (6-18, 2-7) on the road in Western State South action Saturday.
Toerner struck out five and gave up only one walk, while Jason Potter pitched a scoreless eight and ninth to nail down the win for BC.
Brock Hallum led the Renegades with a three for four day at the plate, including a triple.
Luis Martinez continued his season-long tear by picking up two hits in four at-bats, including a triple and an RBI, while Brooks Douglass was two for five with a run scored and a stolen base.
BC hosts West LA College at 6p on Tuesday, April 5th, at Gerry Collis Field.
