Brandon began with Renegade Athletics in July 2018. In his two years with the department he's quickly excelled at managing and amplifying all media and communication aspects of the departments 20 men's and women's sports as well as enhancing the brand of Renegade Athletics by building a communications team of assistants, volunteers and interns. He developed the creation of a video streaming platform for the departments events - in which over 100 live Renegade sporting events are streamed each year, overhauled and significantly updated the athletics website (GoGades.com) and designed the new football field installed in Memorial Stadium in the summer of 2019. He implemented the first visual and branding identity guide known to the department and significantly strengthened the departments social media presence in terms of content and number of followers. The BC Athletics Facebook page has seen a 154% increase in followers, Twitter has seen a 148% increase in followers and Instagram has seen a 1,620% increase in followers resulting in hundreds of thousands of impressions of Renegade digital content each month and almost tripling the amount of monthly impressions for each account prior to July 2018. In addition to building strong relationships with the local Bakersfield media, he helped BC become the first junior college athletic department in the country to partner with social media giant Opendorse in July 2019 to better help Renegades student athletes build their personal brands and provide content for their individual social media accounts.

Prior to coming to BC, he was at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was hired as the inaugural Program Coordinator in launching the M.A. in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration (MAIAA) program in 2014. The MAIAA program admits 12 students per year into the nationally ranked UNL College of Business graduate business program with the guarantee of a graduate assistant position in the UNL Department of Athletics. In that position, Brandon directed the development and execution of student recruitment strategies, building and maintaining both internal and external relationships and oversaw student learning and professional development in two program courses. Due to the recruiting strategies, the programs first four admission cycles doubled in numbers of applicants each successive year. The professional relationships he cultivated within the university and throughout the country quickly brought the program to a place of national prominence and consequently the program has enjoyed great success in placing graduated students in positions of full-time employment within college athletics at a host of NCAA Division I programs across the country.

Prior to that he served as a sports information/marketing assistant for Cypress College Athletics where he planned, developed and executed the first 'Legends of Hoops Night' to retire the jerseys and honor former Cypress players Mark Eaton and Swen Nater. The event was the most attended athletic event in recent college history. While at Cypress he also developed and executed a number of facilities and branding projects, including designing their new basketball court in 2014, that further defined the Cypress College athletics brand.

He began his professional career as a program graduate assistant for the Long Beach State Graduate Program in Sport Management from 2013-2014. In that position he played a pivotal role in recruiting and representing the program at many events online and outside of campus. He also published a monthly program newsletter and further developed the program's social media presence.

As a student-athlete, he played football for Fullerton College. He holds an A.A. in Liberal Studies from Fullerton College, a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Fullerton and an M.A. in Sport Management from California State University, Long Beach.

A native of Cheyenne, WY, Brandon lives in Bakersfield with his wife Heather and four children.
