BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College Renegades Athletics Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) https://www.scoi.com, unveiled its third class of inductees.

A combination of seven former athletes, coaches, and contributors from the 100-year history of BC's athletics were selected for enshrinement by an 11-person committee of community members.

The list of inductees includes:

Athletes: George Jones, David Turner, Rick Sawyer, Linzy Collins, David Dunn

Contributor: Tim Painton

Team: 1959 BC Football Team  

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on October 19th. Cocktail hours start at 5:30 PM, and Dinner begins at 6:30 PM at Luigi's Restaurant.  Tickets, which include dinner, are $150 per person and are now available online only.  Contact the BC Athletic Office at (661) 395-4266 for tickets, questions, and concerns.
